My name is Elena and I am the creator of Bali Whispers. I design and produce all the items myself, from the sketchpad to your shoulders.

Every item is a unique piece of wearable art. Some variations on the same design are possible, but no item is ever mass-produced or identically replicated.

I do not write or sell patterns for my work.

Absolutely. I try to work mostly with cotton and some acrylics, but I am happy to source any type of yarn or fibre for your piece.

I do not copy other people’s designs, make items directly from other people’s patterns, or replicate generic crochet wear. I am happy to use your reference images for inspiration to create something uniquely yours with a Bali Whispers flavour.

Bali Whispers is first and foremost a design brand, and while I do make the items myself, I do not accept orders of multiples of the same item, or any other jobs focused on production rather than design.

Every item is designed and thought through in the tiniest detail and takes tens of hours to make - a creative process that often spans weeks. While some of the materials are sourced locally, I do import a lot of yarns from abroad, which increases their cost by about 50%.

The cost of the items is designed to reflect all of the above.
